ZEMSKY IS NYS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CZAR

Governor Cuomo’s announcement that Howard Zemsky has been appointed NYS Commissioner of Economic Development AND the head of Empire State Development Corporation makes the WNY businessman and developer the most important economic player this State has seen in years. Mr. Zemsky is known as the developer who resurrected the Larkin Building and Larkinville, but he began his career in manufacturing at Russer Foods in Buffalo. As a WNYer and manufacturer, Mr. Zemsky will bring a unique perspective to his new roles—good news for the thousands of manufacturing companies in the State and the 400,000+ New Yorkers who are currently employed in manufacturing.  Read more here.
