Over 50% of sales for Clarence tool manufacturer Dynabrade are international. Dynabrade, along with Eastman Machine, Koike Aronson and SolEpoxy are great examples of how even small and mid-sized manufacturers can benefit from exporting. Recognizing that its well-established export channels were a strength, Dynabrade acquired National Detroit, another tool maker, but one without international sales. By taking National Detroit’s products into their 90 international markets, Dynabrade will be able to significantly grow National Detroit’s sales while further diversifying their own offerings.
