BUFFALO AREA MANUFACTURING CONTINUES TO EXPAND

The April ISM Report for Buffalo came in at 64.4 indicating growth in our manufacturing sector for the 14th month in a row.  New Orders at 75.6, Employment at 67.1 and Production at 65.2 led the way, but every component of the index indicated expansion. By comparison, the equivalent National ISM Report has been below the Buffalo Area for five consecutive months and trending down since October. April’s National ISM PMI Index was 51.5 or 12.9 points below Buffalo (a reading above 50.0 indicates growth). See the full report here: BuffaloISM_April2015
