Apparently the article on the roundabouts and the correlation to the continuous flow belief of lean manufacturing, started some discussion.
As a follow up, I was told that Carmel, Indiana has been incorporating roundabouts into their traffic designs and the results of decreased accidents have been significant. So after some quick research (Google); I came across the following article: “Why an Indiana City is Totally Obsessed with Roundabouts“.
