RETIREMENTS BRING OPPORTUNITY FOR GOOD JOBS IN WNY MANUFACTURING

Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance’s (BNMA) Peter Colman talks about WNY’s impending workforce crisis in this WGRZ story.  With the impending retirement of 137,000 people in the manufacturing sector, the BNMA, Goodwill Industries, Catholic Charities, and the Buffalo Urban League are running the pilot program highlighted in this video to address workforce needs now.  The group acting as the Economic Development Group, will operate the new Workforce Training Center, to be located in the Northland corridor,  when it is up and running.
