One of Buffalo’s oldest family-owned manufacturing companies was featured by the New York Times in an article about the challenges of exporting in the current currency exchange rate environment. Eastman Machine, which manufacturers cutting machines for a wide range of industrial applications, has been in operation in Buffalo for over 125 years, has distributors in 66 countries around the world and exports a high percentage of its products.
