NYS Manufacturing Swoon Continues

Manufacturing activity across New York State declined for the fourth month in a row according to the latest Empire State Manufacturing Survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of NY.  The index fell 6.8 points to -16.0 (a reading below 0.0 is consistent with contraction), however, the six-month outlook improved to 21.2 signaling more confidence in the future among NYS manufacturers.  See the full report here.
