According to the latest Empire State Manufacturing Survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, manufacturing activity expanded for the first time in several months. The current business conditions index jumped 21.5 points to 5.0 (a reading above 0.0 is consistent with expansion). See the full report here.
