Buffalo, N.Y — Insyte Consulting today announced a planned leadership transition as longtime President Benjamin Rand prepares to retire after nearly 20 years leading the organization. Insyte Consulting’s Board of Directors has named Gregg K. Eagan as the next President & CEO, effective June 1, 2026.
“After nearly 20 years of transformational leadership, President Ben Rand is retiring from Insyte Consulting,” said Dale Gier, Chair, Insyte Consulting Board of Directors. “The entire Board joins me in commending Ben for his innovative and steady guidance in the manufacturing sector, especially during challenging times. He set a gold standard as a moderator, problem-solver and facilitator in our community. During his tenure, Insyte’s team helped clients achieve more than $5 billion in economic impact across Western New York, leaving a lasting legacy for the region.”
The Board conducted a thoughtful leadership succession process focused on ensuring continuity, while positioning the organization for future growth.
“Gregg K. Eagan is a proven leader with decades of combined strategic leadership and hands-on global manufacturing business experience who is based in Western New York,” Gier said. “He brings deep operational expertise with an emphasis on collaboration and the success of people, a strong commitment to regional industry growth and a unique ability to help manufacturers solve complex challenges. He is well-positioned to build on Insyte’s legacy and continue advancing its work and impact.”
Eagan brings more than 30 years of manufacturing leadership experience to Insyte, along with deep roots in Western New York’s manufacturing and economic development communities. Many in the region know Eagan from his long tenure at NIACET in Niagara County, where he began as a production engineer and advanced within the company eventually becoming the engineering manager, plant manager and then Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain & Business Excellence. Following NIACET’s acquisition by Kerry Group, Eagan served as Vice President of Strategic Growth.
Eagan has held senior leadership roles with global responsibility across the United States, the Netherlands and Colombia, overseeing operations, engineering, purchasing and supply chain functions. He has consistently driven strong results in safety, quality and operational performance while delivering double-digit improvements in cost savings and operational efficiency. He also has been involved in regional economic development and manufacturing advocacy, including Board leadership roles with the Greater Niagara Manufacturers Association, Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance and the Niagara USA Chamber.
“Ben and the Insyte team have been building an organization with an outstanding reputation, an important mission and deep impact,” said Gregory K. Eagan, President & CEO, Insyte Consulting. “I’m honored by the opportunity to lead Insyte into its next chapter. I believe strongly in the power of collaboration and I look forward to listening, learning and working alongside our team and clients to continue lifting up manufacturers across our region.”
Rand said the transition has been carefully planned to ensure continued success for the organization and its stakeholders.
“Leading Insyte Consulting has been one of the greatest privileges of my career,” said Rand. “I’m incredibly proud of the organization we’ve built together and the impact our team has made across the manufacturing community over the past two decades. This will be a seamless transition, and I’m confident Gregg is exceptionally well-positioned to lead Insyte forward by continuing to support our clients and partners without interruption.”
