Proteus and EMVISS recently won first and second place respectively in a student business startup competition.

Proteus has developed a universal communicator that enables any sensor to easily connect in via popular communication protocols like Ethernet, Bluetooth and Cellular. Their first application is in a cellular connected, fast deploy remote sensing system for monitoring dangerous chemical spills like the one in Charleston West Virginia.
EMVISS has developed a technology that isolates out damaging macro and micro vibrations that can detrimentally affect nano-scale manufacturing systems like semiconductor and MEMS manufacturing.
As part of our mission of building the local economy, one business at a time, Insyte Consulting assisted both teams in preparing for this competition, as well as the recent Panasci competition. Through various programs Insyte Consulting is very active in assisting technology companies in the startup phase.
