According to the Buffalo Institute of Supply Management’s PMI Index, local manufacturing activity continued its recent upward trend in November, posting a reading of 58.1. It’s the third consecutive month of manufacturing expansion and the first time the Index has exceeded 55.0 in the last year, well above its recent low of 39.6 this past August.
