WNY manufacturing continued to outpace state and national measures according to the May Buffalo-Niagara PMI. The index registered 61.1 for the month, but was down 3.3 points from 64.4 in April. All components of the Index—production, prices, inventories, employment, delivers, manufacturing—also showed growth, with the exception of new orders at 48.5.
