Inyste’s Jack McGowan was quoted recently in a story about Buffalo Angels, LLC an angel investor fund for which Insyte will function as executive director.
In the story, by Dave Bertola, McGowan answered questions about this new angel investor fund, the first of its kind in WNY. In addition, as part of its angel investor education activities, the WNY Venture Association will be hosting a seminar on Oct. 16 to share information about ways to best structure investment in seed-stage companies. McGowan is project manager for Insyte Consulting. In addition to his work supporting the WNY Venture Association, he also manages the WNY Business Development Fund and helps technology start-ups position themselves to apply for equity and federal SBIR/STTR grant funding. Jack also works with manufacturers on business and strategic planning, Innovation Engineering, lean manufacturing, finance and ISO quality management systems.
