SUPPORTING STRONG ANGEL ECOSYSTEMS

Jack McGowan, whose work at Insyte includes serving as the Director of the Western New York Venture Association and the Buffalo Angels, was a presenter on panels discussing “Cross-Border Syndication” and “Supporting Strong Angel Ecosystems” at the National Angel Capital Organization’s National Angel Summit on October 6-8 at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.  The NACO Summit was attended by more than 350 angel investors and is the largest gathering of Canadian Angel investors this year.  Other members of the Buffalo Angels members also attended the conference to learn best practices and interact with other leaders of angel investor groups.

With more than 2,000 members across Canada, the National Angel Capital Association is the champion of Canada’s Angel investing community, working with individuals, groups and industry partners by supporting best practices and professional development, informing policy in support of the early-stage funding ecosystem, and providing trusted intelligence on Canada’s Angel investing activity.  www.nacocanada.com
