It was ten years ago this month, July 2012, that Insyte Consulting partnered with Business First to start the WNY Manufacturing Awards, a long overdue recognition of the important role manufacturers play in our community. Manufacturing provides over 60,000 direct jobs in WNY and even more indirect jobs, contributing over $9 billion in gross regional product and huge tax revenues. WNY manufacturers have been Insyte Consulting’s focus throughout our existence and the project work we have done together has generated over $4 billion in impacts, including over 15,000 jobs created or saved since 2000. Now, in our fifth decade, we look forward to continuing our work with WNY manufacturers.
