U.S. MANUFACTURING HIGHEST IN OVER 2 YEARS

The Institute for Supply Management’s PMI Index for October was 59.3, up 3.9 points from the previous month, the highest reading since September 2018 (a reading above 50 indicates expansion).  New Orders, Production, Supplier Deliveries and Prices were all north of 60.0 with 15 of 18 manufacturing sectors reporting growth.  See the full report here.
