Insyte Consulting Announces Three New Board Members

Buffalo, NY – Insyte Consulting, a non-profit management consulting organization that works side-by-side with manufacturers to improve their profitability and bottom-line results through a customized approach, has named Peter Ahrens, Henry Cialone and Craig M. Fischer to its board of directors.

Peter Ahrens

Peter Ahrens is the Executive Director of the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance (BNMA), the largest organization representing manufacturers in Erie and Niagara County. Prior to his role at the BNMA, Peter served as Chief Operating Officer of Viridi Parente, a green technology manufacturing start-up, and before that as head of financial planning for HSBC Securities (HBC) in the US and Canada. Throughout his career Ahrens has served on numerous local and national boards including Dearborn Financial national advisory board and The Buffalo History Museum.

Henry Cialone, Ph.D.

Henry Cialone, Ph.D., is President and CEO of EWI, an advanced engineering service provider dedicated to identifying, developing, and implementing innovative technology solutions that enhance manufacturing competitiveness. He has served in this role for 16 years. Prior to EWI, Henry was an executive at Battelle where he developed and managed the commercial energy technology portfolio. Additional Board service includes Biosorta Pharmaceuticals, Flowgroup and he is a Director and Founder of LIFT – Lightweight Innovations for Tomorrow.


Craig M. Fischer

Craig M. Fischer is a Partner at Hodgson Russ LLP and is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities practice group. Craig concentrates his legal practice on assisting businesses with U.S. securities law regulation and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law and governance. He was named a 2021 Rising Star by Upstate New York Super Lawyers.

Officers of the Insyte Board of Directors for 2022 are: Steven F. Calzi, Chair; Craig Fischer, Secretary; and Rocco Surace, Treasurer.
