EMVISS, a UB student start-up based on technology that removes problematic vibrations in high-precision devices, has won the prestigious University at Buffalo Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition and along with it over $50,000 in cash and services. EMVISS was coached by our own Jack McGowan, who has guided at least three teams to victory over the 14 year history of the Panasci competition. Jack has over 30 years of experience working with early-stage companies, he is the director of the WNY Venture Association/Buffalo Angels and Buffalo Angels LLC investment fund and manages the WNY Business Development Fund.
