LOCAL MANUFACTURING GROWING PER PMI

The Buffalo Purchasing Managers Index for May was well over 60 (a reading above 50 indicates expansion) for the second month in a row, mirroring the upturn in the national ISM Index. New orders (78.3) and Production (75.3) led the way. At 47.1 manufacturing employment was the only sub index that showed contraction for May.  See the full report here: BuffaloNAPM_May2014.
