Buffalo, NY – Insyte Consulting announced today that Steve DiIoia, one of its Professional Coaches, has earned two new coaching certifications. The first is an Associate Certified Coach certificate through the International Coach Federation and the second is a Board Certified Coach certificate through the Center for Credentialing & Education.
To earn the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation, DiIoia was required to complete an accredited coach training program of 133 hours, demonstrate coaching experience with at least 100 hours of coaching time with clients and then pass the Coach Knowledge Assessment examination. The ACC demonstrates not only knowledge and skill, but also a commitment to high professional standards and a strong code of ethics.
The Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) created the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential as a means to independently verify that applicants have met professional coaching competency standards established by CCE and subject matter experts. As with the ACC certification process, DiIoia needed to complete training, perform at least 30 hours of professional coaching after completion of training and upon approval of the application, pass the BCC examination.
Both new certifications, as well as his previous certification as a Gestalt Professional Certified Coach, require ongoing education in order to maintain the credential.
Prior to joining Insyte in 2004 he was Quality Assurance Manager at Enidine and held numerous engineering positions at Motorola. Steve has a B.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
